Everything this house does, and what it costs.
No packages, no tiers with names like Gold and Platinum. Six things, priced by the coat and the hours in front of it. If one of them is wrong for your dog we will say so before you have paid a deposit.

The Full Groom
Bath, hand-dry, and a scissor or clipper finish cut to the coat in front of us — not to a breed diagram. Four hours at the outside, one dog on the floor.

- 2h30 – 4h
Coated dogs to 32kg. Doodles, spaniels, shepherds, anything that mats behind the ear.

Hand-Stripping
Dead coat pulled out by finger and thumb, on a rolling calendar, so a wire jacket keeps its colour and its crispness instead of going soft and grey under a clipper.
- Price
- From $190
- Time
- 3h – 5h
Wire and broken coats: terriers, schnauzers, wire dachshunds, working cockers.

The Bath House
Seventy-five minutes: wash, hand-dry, nails, ears, and a tidy of the four places that mat first. The visit that goes between full grooms and makes them cheaper.
- Price
- $68
- Time
- 75 minutes
Any dog. Short coats need nothing else; long coats need this every three weeks.

Boarding
The Bench
The Measured Collar
Bridle leather, solid brass, hand-stitched at eight stitches to the inch, cut to your dog's neck rather than to a size chart. Three weeks, and it outlives the dog.

- 3 weeks from fitting
Necks from 22cm to 68cm. Lead to match, $120.

The Winter Coat
Waxed cotton over a wool-blanket lining, cut from eleven measurements taken off your own dog. Four weeks. It will not turn, it will not ride, and it will not rub the coat bald at the shoulder.
- Price
- From $260
- Time
- 4 weeks from pattern
Thin-coated, elderly, clipped or working dogs. 3kg to 60kg.

How booking works
Four steps, and a deposit that stops the no-shows.
- 01
Tell us the coat
Breed, age, and the last time somebody got a comb all the way through. A photograph of the worst patch helps more than a photograph of the face.
- 02
We quote a band, not a number
You get a price range and an honest duration within a working day. The final figure is confirmed after the coat read on the table, before any clipper comes out.
- 03
$40 holds the slot
It comes off the bill. It is only kept if you do not arrive and do not call — twice, we have refunded it anyway, because life happens and we are not a parking company.
- 04
Drop off at 7.30, 10.00 or 1.00
Three slots a day, three tables. You will be told a collection time and it will be right to within twenty minutes, because we only take twelve dogs.
41 Wrenfield Row. Tue–Sun, 7.30am till the last coat is dry. Nails between two and four, no appointment, any day we are open.
Not sure which one it is?
Describe the dog and we will tell you — including if the answer is that you want somebody cheaper and nearer.
